![]() That still wasn't enough though, and we were told we hadn't spent enough, and that since communication with our offices in HongKong and USA was critical, it was worth getting the best money can buy. We set up a test to show that the mic wasn't the problem, by doing a test call with the Jabra, and then one with a bunch of old sheets hung up in the room to dampen the echoes. It didn't solve the problem, but certainly was an improvement, and when used in other areas it performed brilliantly! Great little mic. My manager and I were unconvinced, so we got a relatively cheap Jabra 510 as a test. We got a couple of AV/conferencing companies in to assess, who recommended sound dampening panels etc.įor some reason C-levels decided that wasn't high-tech enough as a solution, and were convinced echo cancelling microphones were the answer. We had a similar sized room to OP, with very few soft furnishings so it caused LOTS of echo. ![]()
